Preview: King’s Quest

It is almost time to dive back into the magical kingdom of Daventry! Those who know the game series of the past, know to expect the unforgettable storytelling, wit, puzzles, and of course plenty of ways to die. Select between the noble pillars of Bravery, Wisdom, and Compassion to see what rippling effects these choices will have on Graham’s journey as well as later chapters. Puzzles will offer multiple solutions, encouraging players to experiment with their inventory and environment.

The story
An aging King Graham reflects on a life of adventure with his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, taking players back to his teen years and his quest to become a knight of Daventry in King Edward’s royal guard. This new release of King’s Quest is a collection of five different chapter releases, each focusing on an untold tale in Graham’s past. Discover a wondrous world full of whimsical characters, charming puzzles and perilous dangers in this fun and enchanting coming of age story. Embark on an extraordinary journey across the world of Daventry.

The developers
The Odd Gentlemen are a small team of gentlefolks based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2008, they create games that are humorous and charming with fantastical worlds, quirky characters, and compelling stories that highlight creative and innovative gameplay. Striving to create experiences that all ages can enjoy, they want to bring classic charm and wonder back into games.

This new release will be available July 28th for multiple platforms; PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam), PS3 and Xbox 360. Future chapters can be downloaded from in-game upon individual release throughout 2015 and 2016 or you can choose to pre-order the full game.
