Grim Fandango: Remastered Episode 13

What can you expect from this episode?
IMPORTANT before you read any further: SPOILER ALERT!! (duh)..

In this Episode we have a second look around in Rubacava. We visit the police station, the coroner, the union bees, lighthouse and the Blue Casket Cafe where we recite a poem on Open Mic Night. It looks like our quest in Rubacava has started. We have to obtain a metal detector, we know that someone with the initials H.L. misses a suitcase, help the coroner to get better tools, help the bees with their union problem and have to find the key to the lighthouse. But that’s all for the next episode!

The Characters
Some new faces around town.

Membrillo
The local coroner and forensic botanist. He complains about how he is unable to find anything with the tools he has on hand.

Terry and the Sea Bees
Although they are members of the Maritime Union, the union is corrupt and does not look after their interests at all. Terry wishes he had the words to express himself and change the situation. Fun fact: A Seabee is a member of the United States Naval Construction Forces (NCF). The word “Seabee” comes from initials “CB” which in turn comes from the term Construction Battalions. Source: Wikipedia

Maximino / Max
Owner of the Kittycat Racetrack, but we haven’t seen him so far. He lets Glottis take the Bonewagen out for a ride around his track.

Manny’s Mexican Lingo
New phrases learned in this episode;
* Membrillo – Quince; a small deciduous tree that bears a pome fruit, similar in appearance to a pear and bright golden-yellow when mature
* Gracias – Thank you
* Muchisimas gracias – Many thanks / Thank you very much / Thank you so much

That’s it for now. Please check out my video, like, subscribe and hay te haucho!
