CBM Paper Design: Project Life Embellishments svg

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a nice time celebrating the Holidays.

I really enjoyed my time off and decided to make a CBM Paper Design. It has been so long! With 2015 coming up, I thought it might be a nice idea to create some embellishments. I still have to do a test-run, but see the image below for a preview of what you can expect.

With the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, I created several sorts and shapes paperclips. The paperclips can be cut using the eClips machine by Sizzix or the Silhouette Cameo. After cutting the paperclips, they can be used as embellisments paper crafts such as card making, scrapbooking or pimping your planner. After testing, the complete file will be up on Etsy. Stay tuned for more info. That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by and take care!

Scrapadabadoo Craft Challenge – week 33

Hello and a happy weekend to you all!

I’m in a very good mood, because I’ve finished my first online challenge!
My mind was filled with soooo many ideas, just out of this one layout.

The first idea was to make a 12×12 scrapbook layout which was really based on the layout.
The second idea was to make a 6×6 page for my art journal, inspired by the layout.
See the picture below for the results;

Finished Porsche Page -updated

Hello Hello!
Another quick post to share to the fact…
I’ve finally made some progress with my Raced Theme Scrapbook!
The Porsche Page with pull-tab has finally come together.

I´ll have to get back to you which paper I used.
The “gears” are Bo Bunny On The Go cardstock,
the spatters are done with nailpolish.

The first picture is the first of a two page “spread”
and I the second photo is the other half.

I’ve been working on it for 2 years now (!)
Not continuesly of course but still, 2 years is a long time.
Anyway, my goal is to finish this by the end of this month.
So be prepared to see a lot of fast cars on pretty paper!

My scrapbook project and updated Pinterest

My first scrapbook is a big project for me.
No I didn’t make a typo, it still IS.

The main goal is not to get the book done, but a project to let my creativity flow.

The scrapbook will contain photo’s of a racing experience day.
A present I gave my boyfriend for our anniversary and Valentines day a couple of years ago.

It’s still my first project, and since it’s not a popular theme to scrap about
(not in the Netherlands anyway) I got stuck very quickly.

How I started Scrapbooking

This is my story, a young woman from a neither small, nor big town.

It was a dark, cold November and the rain was continuously pouring down.

I asked myself; “What to do, What to do?

I am bored of the weather, and of my computer games too”.

To pass the time I looked at some pictures that made me smile.

Since they were on the computer, I had not seen them for a while.

“We have lots of digital pictures and live in a very digital age

But sometimes it’s just nice to see and hold them in a book, on a normal page”.

I browsed the web for hours searching for a nice way to store them all.

Finally I found Shimelle Laine and her youtube scrapbook channel.

Full of inspiration I started sorting and printing pictures, 1100 I chose.

Of course I had to share my discovery with my good friend, Black Rose.

Together and alone we started creating and crafting, each in our own way.

Many hours have past embellishing Project Life, and I loved every minute of it I must say.

What is scrapbooking and why do scrapbookers do what we do?
Play the video below and maybe, just maybe you’ll get inspired too.
